Our Reception children enjoyed a lovely visit from our community police officer PC Mealin this morning, who spoke to them in the classroom before giving them a very exciting tour of his police car! With sirens wailing and blue lights flashing, the children were able to get a great, early understanding of how the police work to help people in all sorts of ways. It's all part of the Primary School Police Programme, in which we welcome officers to school in each year group to talk and work with the children on a range of subjects, including 'Safe Play', 'Right or Wrong?'. 'Bullying Vs Banter' and 'Social Media'.
