Our Year 6 netball club had the amazing opportunity to visit the Netball Europe Tournament to watch Isle of Man Vs Gibraltar at the NSC yesterday. This was the first match in the tournament for the Isle of Man and it was very closely contested throughout, with shots going in left right and centre! The Isle of Man managed to take the lead after the third quarter 28-26 and closely fought to keep the lead in the last quarter, but unfortunately got beaten in the last few minutes of the game 39-36. The children kept a good close on the team's tactics and have now learnt new defence tactics, how quickly play can move through the court and some excellent marking strategies! We are looking forward to watch year 6 apply these new skills their matches!
