Our Year 4 pupils have produced a stunning collection of cool‑coloured moonscapes as part of their colour theory project. Through this essential skills and knowledge unit, the children have been learning about the colour wheel, how colours mix, and the ways artists use warm and cool tones to create mood and atmosphere. After exploring a range of techniques, they experimented with cool colours to paint dramatic night skies, blending shades of blue, green and purple to striking effect. Their final pieces show impressive control, creativity and an emerging understanding of how colour choices can transform artwork. The display is a beautiful example of their hard work and developing artistic confidence - well done, Year 4!
