Our Year 2 children have been enjoying a fantastic, summertime project this term - 'Wriggle and Crawl'! They've certainly been busy bees as they wrote a guidebook for other children to use on mini-beast hunts, drew sketch maps of their mini-beast hunting areas, and created engaging mini-beast stories and poems.
Venturing into our local area, we explored trees and bushes to discover what lived there, investigated how far and how fast a snail could travel, drew delicate sketches of insects...a great mix of English, Science, Art and more, and as you can see from the pictures, all resulting in some impressive work! Well done Year 2!
