Our Year 6 pupils recently enjoyed a creative and reflective visit to CraftWorks Studios in Castletown, where they took part in a remembrance-themed program.
As part of the experience, the children painted striking poppy designs onto ceramic tiles, producing artwork that was both beautiful and meaningful. The session offered a thoughtful way to explore the significance of remembrance through art, and the pupils’ creations were a testament to the pupils understanding and engagement.
It was a memorable visit that combined creativity, history, and reflection - and resulted in some thoughtful, ambitious work. Very well done Year 6!
