It's a Trea to share this beautiful artwork created by our Reception class as part of their engaging topic, 'Starry Night'. The children have explored various materials and techniques to express their interpretations of the lunar world! Their creations feature vibrant swirls of paint, textured collages, and sparkling stars, reflecting their creativity and understanding of the night sky's beauty. This project not only highlights their artistic skills but also celebrates their learning journey, making it a delightful experience for everyone involved. As well as some terrific artwork, the class have also explored the differences between the world at night time compared with daytime, through a range of exciting and creative activities. They've finding out about nocturnal animals and how they find food when it is dark. They have learned about people who work at night and the different jobs that people do when we are asleep, as well as discussing bedtime routines and the importance of a good night’s sleep!
