If your child will be absent from school through illness or other medical reasons please advise us by letter, email or telephone so that we may record the absence as authorised in the register. There are some illnesses and medical conditions that require children to be absent for a pre-determined number of days; your child's doctor will be able to offer specific advice.
If a child does not arrive at school and we have not been informed the school will usually make a call to the home to check that everything is ok.
