Most schools encounter some cases of headlice from time to time. Manx Care provides guidance for schools and parents on identification and treatment. If you notice your child with headlice please let us know and we can ask parents of children in the class to take part in a weekend head check. We have found this to be successful if everyone takes part. However, please do consider that school is only one of many environments where headlice may be transmitted easily from head to head.
