We consider the personal and social development of your child to be an essential part of our provision. If we have happy, enthusiastic and confident children who have positive self-esteem learning is far more successful and rewarding. If we have any concerns about a child’s welfare we usually involve parents at an early stage. We also appreciate parents advising us of any changes at home which may affect your child. There are many things that can cause a child to behave differently at school including the arrival of a new baby, family changes or hearing of an upsetting event. Friendships are an important part of school for all children and ‘fallouts’ or disagreements can be distressing for any child. You are always welcome in school to visit us or to talk about any concern in confidence.
